ON COURT CLEANING
Hand sanitizer is made available throughout the club.
Equipment and accessories are sanitized throughout the day.
OFF COURT CLEANING
Staff use of paper towels with household cleaners and EPA registered disinfectants that are safe for the space.
Door handles, chairs, tables, hand-washing station, and restroom area are cleaned regularly.
AIR QUALITY AT OUR FACILITIES
Court 16's playing surfaces and viewing areas have central heating and cooling systems that use ventilation air directly from the outdoors in combination with filtration. These systems comply with code requirements for amounts of outside air based on a fully populated building, and are equipped with MERV-13 filters which exceed NYC code requirements, and comply with recommendations from the CDC and ASHRAE.
Tennis Shoes Policy
We require that all members, guests and players wear real tennis shoes to diminish the risk of injury. Tennis shoes are designed to provide grip, cushioning and stability during complex dynamic movements on the court. The specificity of a tennis shoe’s outsole is that the recesses and solid areas are distributed to minimise pressures, providing better adhesion and lower wear adhesion respectively. Furthermore, we reserve the right not to allow a member or guest to access the playing area if that person is not wearing proper tennis or pickleball shoes. LEARN MORE
