Safety is Our Top Priority

Effective March 7, 2022 

Individuals 5 years old and older:

Masks will now be optional at Court 16. We want to emphasize that we respect each individual's decision and encourage those who feel safest wearing a mask to continue to do so.

Individuals younger than 5 years old:

Kids who are not eligible to get vaccinated will still need to wear a well-fitted, properly worn KN-95 mask at all times to enter and play inside our clubs. If a child cannot wear their mask properly, or is presented at the front desk with obvious symptoms, we will be happy to reschedule the class for a later date.

Vaccination:

We will continue to require proof of vaccination to enter our facilities for everyone ages 5 years old and older. This is critical in making sure that our facilities remain as safe as possible.

Self-Assessment:

If you are experiencing any symptoms of Covid-19, feel unwell, or tested positive for Covid-19, stay home. If you have been in close contact with someone with Covid-19, but are not experiencing symptoms and are vaccinated, you are allowed to attend and are required to wear a mask. A list of symptoms as outlined by the CDC can be found here.

Accompanying Adults:

Upon showing proof of vaccination, parents and caregivers will be allowed back inside our clubs so they can view their kids in action! We will continue to monitor the overall # of people in order to maintain a safe capacity. We encourage spectators to come inside one at a time to help us keep the capacity low.

Acceptable forms of vaccination proof are as follows:

  • A photo or hard copy of their CDC vaccination card

  • NYC COVID Safe App

  • New York State Excelsior App

  • Official vaccine record

  • A photo or hard copy of an official vaccination record of a vaccine administered outside the United States for one of the following vaccines: AstraZeneca/SK Bioscience, Serum Institute of India/COVISHIELD and Vaxzevria, Sinopharm, or Sinovac.

Proof of vaccination for vaccines administered outside the U.S. may be demonstrated by an official immunization record that includes all of the following:

  • First name and last name

  • Date of birth

  • Vaccine product name (ex: AstraZeneca/SK Bioscience)

  • Date(s) administered

  • Site where the vaccine was administered or person who administered the vaccine

Indoor Protocols

Children under 5yrs must wear face masks (no bandanas) over the nose and mouth at all times. Persons 5yrs and older have the option to go mask free or to wear a mask. 

Frequent hand washing at the designated hand washing stations before and after getting on the court.

Players are required to bring their own racquets, full water bottle, snacks, and other gear needed.

Parents and caregivers may drop off kids at the door of the club. Spectators are encouraged to come inside the club one at a time to help us keep the capacity low.

 

All players to maintain 6 feet of social distance during breaks and when off the court.

Group Classes now accommodate 5 players maximum and 1 coach per court (6 Players maximum on 60’ Court).

 

 Keeping the Club Clean

ON COURT CLEANING

Hand sanitizer is made available throughout the club.

Equipment and accessories are sanitized throughout the day.

OFF COURT CLEANING

Staff use of paper towels with household cleaners and EPA registered disinfectants that are safe for the space.

Door handles, chairs, tables, hand-washing station, and restroom area are cleaned regularly.

AIR QUALITY AT OUR FACILITIES

Court 16's playing surfaces and viewing areas have central heating and cooling systems that use ventilation air directly from the outdoors in combination with filtration. These systems comply with code requirements for amounts of outside air based on a fully populated building, and are equipped with MERV-13 filters which exceed NYC code requirements, and comply with recommendations from the CDC and ASHRAE.
